先日のエントリーの「メッセージを伝えるために。」にも書きましたが、世の中に流れている情報を整理し「選択可能情報量」と「消費情報量」の数量的な結果を見ると、目に入った情報でも必要なモノと判断出来ない情報は、華麗にスルーされている事に驚かされます。
この事は社会の情報流通に変化が出てきたと考えられ、一つは今までのようにマスメディアが上流から流し、下流でその情報を受け取って利用する流れと、もう一つは欲しい情報は捕りに行って利用する。
情報取得にこの大きな流れが二方向出てきたと判断出来ます。
つまりモノを買って欲しければ、今までのように企業側からのコミュニケーションである広告や販促ツールでアプローチする方法と、コンシュマーからのコミュニケーションに応えるWebの充実の両方を、車の両輪のようにバランス良く使う事が求められています。
広告や販促ツールは経験豊かな代理店や制作会社がありますし、Webにしても外注する事も可能ですが、企業側からの情報一元化を考えると外のスタッフを使うよりも、企業内の広報という立場で情報を発信していく方が、社内でのノウハウやリテラシーの蓄積も出来るので、CMSを利用するなどして社内で対応する方が良いと考えます。
コンシュマーが知りたいと思う情報を、深掘り出来るよう詳しく載せる事はもちろん、どの様に考え行動しているのか、解りやすく企業理念を表現する事で、企業ブランディングを確立する事を視野に入れ、Webサイトを構築する事が必要です。
間違えてはいけない事は現在有るマスメディアとWebとを同じ土俵で判断しない事。
マスメディアは企業側からコンシュマーにプッシュするコミュニケーション、Webはコンシュマーから企業側へとプルされるコミュニケーションと言えば解りやすいでしょうか。
良くホームページを作ったからウチもウハウハ！ なんて思う人も中にはいるようですが、マスメディアを使っての販促ツールでしたら、出稿量によってリアクションもあるのでしょうが、Webは畑です、種をまいて水をまいて育てなければ収穫出来ませんよ。
