アメリカの金融危機を発端に、世界経済も行き先を見定められず迷走しているように感じますが、日本でも最近新聞の経済面を賑わせるニュースに、製造業は軒並み業績を下降修正したとあるなど、いままで日本経済を牽引してきた日本の製造業が低迷しています。
こんなニュースが流れるとき、お客さん達は容易に財布のヒモをゆるめようとはしません。
その商品がいま自分に本当に必要なのか、そのメーカー・サービスは自分の考えるインセンティブを有しているのかいないのかを吟味し、見極めてから購入に走ります。
こんな時だからこそ商品やサービスを提供する側は、競合他社との差別化を明確にし、自社の特徴をキチンとアナウンスしていかなければなりません。
手段としては広告やお客様に配布する印刷物を始め、業種業態、規模によって様々な方法が考えられます。
お客様がこの商品・サービスを受けるために、従来通りの方法でいいのか、立ち止まってくれているのです、特に他社競合と価格勝負していない企業は、この経済が落ち込んでいる時にこそチャンスです。
不景気だとメディアは報じていますが、日本の全国民が貧乏なわけではありません、ばらまくほどは無いにしても、不景気感で財布のヒモを堅くしているだけです。
自社の強みはなんですか、選んでいただくメリットはなんですか、売っているのは商品ですか、サービスですか。
お客様が選ばれている点がサービスの良さと感じているのに、商品を売っているだけと考えていませんか。
先ずは自身の企業を客観的に判断し、他社との違いを明確化しましょう、先ずはそこからスタートです。
すでに明確になっている企業は、様々な方法でお客様にアピールできるよう手段を考えましょう。
