■フレーミング
クルマやオートバイなど、大きな被写体は全体を画面にきっちり納める表現もありますが、一部を切り取る形での表現方法も考えられます。どこをどう切り取れば、格好良くなるかは背景と商品の色などに左右されますので、撮る方のセンスに大きく左右されるところでしょう。また、クルマのボディーなど面が大きい物では、そこに写り混む風景なども、画像の一つの要素となります。
■露出
デジカメのカメラRAWデーターでは、PCでの現像の際、露出を絞りで言って一段開けたり、絞ったりしても、仕上がりの画像にさほど影響が無く調整できますが、露光をAUTOの設定で撮影の場合、背景の色や被写体の形状、光の当たり方で仕上がりが明るく跳んでしまったり、暗く潰れてしまったりします。
カメラを覗いたフレームの中で、ハイライトとシャドウを認識し、被写体の中で一番表現したい部分に露出を合わせるよう意識して露出を合わせないと、カメラで適正露出と判断していても、思った画像が撮れない場合もありますのでご注意ください。
カメラ量販店にも軽い布製で片面はアルミ蒸着、片面は白と言ったコンパクトに収納できるレフ板を売っています。被写体で表現したい部分がシャドウで暗くなっている場合、レフ板で光を当てる事で、自然な形で明るくできますので、一つ用意しておくと何かと便利です。
■まとめ
デジタル一眼レフカメラを使って、少し良い写真の撮り方を4回に分け説明しましたが、カメラのファインダーを覗いた時に、こんなフレーミングがあったな、こんな撮り方があったな、などと、広告や写真集などで良い写真を沢山見る事はとても大切な事です。また、良い写真を撮るために早起きするなど労力を惜しまず、色々な撮り方にチャレンジし、沢山の写真を撮って頭に引き出しを作っておく事も忘れないでください。
少しだけ写真の説明を。左は晩秋と言っていい時期、東京都内の公園の入口で撮影した写真です。遠くまで行かなくとも近くとも良い場所は沢山あります。右は、春先に山梨のリゾートで撮ったクラッシックカーで、リアフェンダーの曲線が官能的な線を描き、そこに写り混んでいる風景もなかなかキレイです。
